In episode seventeen we were joined by a man on the inside of Motorsport, the charismatic and ever fascinating Guy Austin, former Partner at Ridge Partners LLP and motorsport enthusiast.

We hear about Guy’s illustrious career at Ridge Partners LLP, from where it all started to where he left the partnership with the majority of Formula 1 teams working closely with the Partnership in one form or another. Throughout his career he put himself in the way of opportunity and it was these opportunities that were the catalyst to him becoming one of the most respected consultants and project managers when it comes to Motor Racing Factories.

Guy tells of his immense gratitude for the mentors he has had, and the support and knowledge transfer he received from the great individuals and teams he has been fortunate enough to work with over the years. He offers up his thoughts on his experiences to date and provides great guidance for all those looking to progress and develop, no matter the discipline.

With success comes many interactions with well known individuals and organisations, and Guy has endless tales of adventures, scrapes and challenges that come with the territory. Everything from his personal dream of becoming a fighter pilot to surviving a plane crash to the negotiating table with champions of the Motorsport world.
